Partnership - The Link÷ping University

 The Linköping University was founded in 1960's as an independent college and received a university status in 1975

with three faculties: Institute of Technology, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Faculty of Health Sciences. The Department of Production Economics of the LiU carries out education and research within borderline areas between technology and economics. The department also participates in the programme of the international Graduate School of Management and Industrial Engineering IMIE being alliance of thirteen division representing five departments and two faculties at Linköping University. Its aim is to integrate technology, management and economics with focus on the change and integration in industrial value chains.
The Linköping University takes part in such project activities as:

  • development of curricula for new professions relating to the technological development,
  • co-operation in the development of curricula for new professions relating to the local development,
  • testing the curricula for animator of technological development and entrepreneurship,
  • participation in the quality system development,
  • development of the strategy of interregional exchange of experts, trainers and learners and employees,
  • participation in management of the project, dissemination of results and networking development.
